Vaccinations
It is important before traveling to Papua New Guinea that you are up to date on all of your vaccinations, some nations may even deny re-entry if you have not done so. The best thing to do is to meet with a travel doctor and inform them where you are headed. Here is a link for recommended vaccinations; https://www.passporthealthusa.com/destination-advice/papua-new-guinea/
Passports
When traveling to Papua New Guinea a valid passport is required with at least six months validity after your departure date from PNG. Here is a list of embassies located in Papua New Guinea in case of emergencies; https://www.embassypages.com/png
Quarantine
When traveling to Papua New Guinea you might be purchasing goods made of wood and other plant materials. Some of these items might need to be quarantined or fumigated so it is important to know what you can take with you home, and what needs to be quarantined BEFORE you arrive at the airport for your departure. There are fumigation services in Port Moresby, however, depending on where you are departing to you may have to pay to get items fumigated at your arrival airport.
