East Cape Skull Tour

Travel 2 hours by road to a small village on the East Cape of Milne Bay Province. You will be welcome by the villagers with a dance and refreshment. We will the trek into the jungle to see a creepy spectacle of Papua New Guineas history. Deep in the jungle as well as on Bonarua Island and many other locations in Milne Bay, are caves filled with human skulls. Although the tradition of head hunting and cannibalism has far since left Papua New Guinea, there are still remints of a darker time.
