Activities Overview

Light House Trek

A short but steep hike through the island to the very top. Don’t forget to bring your camera, not only will you see more islands, reefs, you might spot sea turtles, or sharks from the top!

Skull Cave Trek

Another short but steep hike to one of the predominant cliffs of the island. Not for the everyday tourist, but a very unique glimpse into Papua New Guineas history. After getting to the top of the cliff you will be able to witness a few skulls, but there are many more lurking in the caves below

Spearfishing (for experienced divers)

Being on a remote island the local people don’t always have the opportunity to go to a market or a store for supplies, they live mostly on the land and have access to an abundance of tropical fish and creatures. Join the boys for a night dive or have them bring you around to different reefs by dingy.

What to expected
New Guinea is within the Coral Triangle, the most species rich marine region in the world. In addition to more than 600 species of corals (about 76% of the total in the world), there are more than 2200 species of reef fishes (about 37% of the total in the world).

Papua New Guineas nickname is ‘The Land of the Unexpected’ - In my stays we got; red snapper, lobster, squid, and plenty of different reef fish. There is also a range of sea urchin that can consumed raw
